AFTER A DEMO, a good question I like to ask is, ‘So, on a scale of 1-10, ‘1’ being “this is the most useless product I’ve seen,” and ’10’ being “this is amazing we have to have it,” where do you feel you are on the scale?’ If they say ‘I’m at a 7.’ I respond with two questions. ‘Ok, Why aren’t you a ‘2’? This allows them to tell you why they really like your service and how it actually benefits them, giving them a chance to sell themselves. I then ask ‘Why is it not a 10?’ Then they will tell you what their hesitations are.
